China Unicom has officially released OS 7.1.0.437 for the BlackBerry Bold 9900. While this is an official release, remember to use caution when updating your device. RIM just rolled out another tiny update to their IM clients with both Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo Messenger getting updated to v3.0.0.20 from v3.0.0.19. Oddly enough Google Talk does not seem to have received the update yet but chances are it will. Let us know if you notice anything new or spot a change log:

FaceBook for BlackBerry has been updated to version 3.1 in BlackBerry Beta Zone. The new version brings along a few needed features, one of the bigger ones is the ability to access your groups from within the application.

Don’t you just love Monday morning app updates? I know I do. This morning RIM rolled out a minor update to Twitter for BlackBerry no doubt to fix various bugs.

Be sure to refresh your app list or clear the cache using ALT + R S T to force the update to show if it’s not.

At last, the Porsche design BlackBerry P’9981 has received an official 7.1 OS. Mobily has officially released OS 7.1.0.342 for the P’9981. We’re not sure how this build runs. If you’re a lucky owner of the $2k BlackBerry, let us know how it runs.
